Biography
Surrey’s wicketkeeper for the majority of the Friends Provident Trophy and the entire Twenty20 Cup and NatWest Pro40 last year, Gary Wilson will challenge for the top spot at all times. A prolific run scorer in Second XI cricket, Wilson averaged 73 last year and also made a number of telling first team contributions with his innovative stroke making. Away from the Brit Oval, Wilson has established in the Ireland side at both first-class and One Day level and plays regularly in the ICC Intercontinental Cup as well as top flight events such as the ICC World Twenty20 and next year’s impending fifty over World Cup.
