Biography
A young pace bowler who played five LV County Championship and nine One Day games last year, Stuart Meaker has a huge amount of potential at any number of levels. The raw aggression and quickness he exhibits is enough to make any batsman uncomfortable and his first-class best of 3/114 is not representative of the explosive power that could easily tear straight through an opposition. Another facet to his game – his useful lower order batting – was well exhibited last year when he scored 72 against Essex at Colchester to help Surrey from 263/6 to 428 all out.
