Biography
There is very little that can be written about the extraordinary achievements of Mark Ramprakash that has not already been committed to posterity. Only the 25th person in history – and in all likelihood the last – to score 100 first-class hundreds, Ramps scored 1,350 first-class runs in 2009 at an average of 90.00 and could easily have secured his third season of averaging above 100 in first-class cricket had it not been for an unfortunate broken thumb suffered in early September.
