Biography
Another young PG Academy graduate, Laurie Evans made his first-team bow at the start of 2009 season but was unable to hold onto his spot when Mark Ramprakash returned from his two game suspension. However, sent back down to the Second XI he once again impressed with an average of 63.57, scoring a century and six fifties as he played a key role in Surrey’s Second XI Championship victory. In 2010 Evans will be keen to take any opportunity that comes his way and try to force his way back into the First XI by weight of runs.
