Biography
Former England leg spinner Chris Schofield completed a remarkable journey from England to the Minor Counties and back again when he joined Surrey in 2006. Since then, he has established himself as a vital player in the squad and was almost an ever present in 2009. His started with an excellent run of form in the Friends Provident Trophy, continued with fine performances in the Twenty20 Cup and ended with his debut first-class century of 144 against Essex in the LV County Championship, which supplemented his 54 wickets in all competitions very well.
