Biography
The big South African paceman – who has developed the inevitable cult following amongst Surrey fans for his on field pronouncements – arrived at the Brit Oval at the start of 2009 and is already an important figure in the dressing room. His 27 wickets last year came at 27.92 and included a match winning best of 6-36 against Northamptonshire at the County Ground. Off the field his demeanour is considerably sunnier than some assume and he is already paying great dividends in the development of the future of Surrey quicks.
