Walters to captain young Second XI at Reigate

Stewart Walters will lead a young Surrey side into their final pre-season friendly against a strong Reigate Priory side tomorrow.

Walters, an experienced leader who was in charge of his hometown Perth Cricket Club in Australia this winter, will lead a side featuring a number of current and former members of the Pemberton Greenish Surrey Academy.

Also playing will be Chris Murtagh and Jason Roy, who will be representing Reigate Priory, the reigning Surrey Championship Premier Division champions.

The game will start at Reigate Priory CC with a 10.45am start and will take the format of a 50 over Friends Provident Trophy match. Entrance is free.
