PG Academy look for Kennington United double

19 June 2009

Another strong Pemberton Greenish Academty side has been picked to play the second fixture of the summer against Lambeth side Kennington United.

The fixture, which is the return match from a game played earlier in the season at Horsley and Send CC, will take place at the Kennington Park Extension this Sunday (June 21st).

PG Academy were victorious in the earlier game with wicket keeper Rory Burns scoring an entertaining hundred and Matthew Dunn, George Edwards and Freddie van den Bergh bowling well to dismiss KUCC for just 114.

It is a similar side to turn out in Zone 1 on Sunday with Daniel Newton, Seren Waters and George Edwards all returning from Second XI duty to play for Gareth Townsend's side.

Zafar Ansari
Rory Burns (Wicket Keeper)
Matthew Dunn

Tom Lancefield
William MacVicar
Daniel Newton

The game will start at 1pm in the Kennington Park Extension. Entrance, as ever, is free.
