Literary Linley on his Trip Down Under
3 March 2010
As the countdown to pre-season grows ever more insistent, Surrey seamer Tim Linley has just returned from a successful trip to Melbourne and spoke to Surrey TV about his experiences out there.
Linley, who was representing a club in the Gold Coast city of Melbourne, says he was welcomed back to the area like an old family member and was happy to repay the favour with eight wickets at an average of around eighteen and also 170 runs at 40.
Further to the cricketing exercise Linley – an archetypal Brit abroad – made sure that a good amount of reading material was consumed on the trip and to hear his opinions on the latest cricketing tomes from the Land Down Under, click on Play Video in the top left hand corner of the picture at the top of this article to watch the full interview.
