Jordan Looks Forward to Chennai

20 January 2010

Chris Jordan – who is enjoying a globetrotting winter with the England Performance Squad – has been working at the Brit Oval this week and took the chance to catch up with Surrey TV.

After being named in the ‘B’ Squad of players thought to be between one and three years away from challenging for an England debut, Jordan worked intensively at the Cricket South Africa High Performance centre on a tough strength and conditioning regime and a regular regime of nets and bowling drills.

Now, after enjoying a Christmas break back in his home of Barbados, Jordan is back in the United Kingdom. He began the second part of his winter work training in Loughborough with ECB coaches and, after a brief period with the squad the Brit Oval, will head to the Dennis Lillee Fast Bowling camp in Chennai – alongside Stuart Meaker – to further his progress by working with the moustachioed Aussie legend and firing up against a number of Test stars.
