Roof Terrace one year anniversary celebration

On the 7th May 09 Oval Events celebrated its first successful year of the newly opened Roof Terrace that crowns the OCS Stand at the Brit Oval. Starting last summer, the open air bar and function space is available for hire every day of the cricket season.

The Roof Terrace at the Brit Oval offers panoramic views of many major London landmarks and is already established as a world-leading location from which to watch international cricket. Located directly opposite the historic Pavilion and high above the famous Brit Oval wicket, the Roof Terrace is an impressive summer venue on non-match days too.

Since the opening of the OCS stand in 2005, the Roof Terrace has only been available to hire on cricket days and has been used solely as a hospitality venue. The extension of its opening times last year was an important development for Oval Events. It also offers a new option for corporate and conferencing clients seeking a Central London venue that is out of the ordinary. 

The space can accommodate up to 300 guests for a drinks reception or a buffet and is available from April to September until 6:00pm on a non-cricket day and 9.00pm on a cricket day.

With this extension in availability the roof terrace has already hosted a number of great events including luncheons, pre-dinner and post-lunch drinks and wedding celebrations.

To celebrate such a successful year of events Oval Events held a summer cocktail on the roof terrace on the 7th May to showcase the fantastic facilities we have available. Our guests enjoyed live cricket, fabulous food and drinks while listening to our regular Jazz Trio.
